Focal Areas of The Conservation Symposium

While we will be catering for the full suite of focal areas listed below, given national priorities and initiatives, for 2018 we encourage submission of presentations and proposals for special sessions in the themes of protected area management effectiveness, implementation of biodiversity-related multilateral environmental agreements, and conservation genetics.

Each Symposium will focus on specific contemporary issues, but the broad focal areas are:
